These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MÆGI QR (the “Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms and the applicable License below.

Relationship to the License

• The License defines all rights granted to you regarding use of the Software.
• If there is any conflict between these Terms and the License, the License controls.

Termination

Royal Goose Studios may terminate your right to use the Software if you violate these Terms or the License. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession.

No Warranty

The Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Goose Studios shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the Software, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Third-Party Platforms

If you obtained the Software through itch.io or another third-party platform, your use of that platform is governed by its own terms and policies. Royal Goose Studios is not responsible for platform-level services such as payments, hosting, or account management.

Governing Law

These Terms and the License shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction of Royal Goose Studios, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Demo Version License (Non-Commercial)

This Demo version of MÆGI QR (the “Software”) is provided for evaluation and personal use only.

Permissions

• Personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for non-commercial purposes only.
• You may publicly perform the Software (e.g., demos/streams) so long as the use remains non-commercial.

Restrictions

• You may not use the Software for any commercial purpose.
• You may not copy, distribute, sell, or sub-license the Software or any part of the Software.
• You may not reverse engineer, disassemble, or modify the Software or any part of the Software.

Commercial Use

Commercial use is explicitly prohibited in the Demo version. To use MÆGI QR for commercial purposes, you must obtain the Full (paid) license.

Full Version License (Commercial + Non-Commercial)

Upon obtaining a copy of MÆGI QR (the “Software”), you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for commercial and non-commercial purposes, and to publicly perform the Software, with the following restrictions:

• You may not copy, distribute, sell, or sub-license the Software or any part of the Software.
• You may not reverse engineer, disassemble or modify the Software or any part of the Software.
